I'm mainly directing <coff> and OH and parents are doing most of the work. Sadly I've been sent to work to do the overtime to buy the stuff. There's little I can actually do anyway, most of it involves electrics/plumbing/building work/wallpapering (which I have no idea about either). Once the wallpapering is done then I can do some painting but OH beat me to it last time...
We've got all the windows in now and even a cat flap so Schmickles will be pleased eventually.
Had a quote for blinds, £198 for 6 blinds or £199 for 7 so I've got one for the utility room too which doesn't need one but might as well have it for £1.
Plumber is starting work on friday installing the central heating, so we'll be warm and draught free after next tuesday!

Wow April you have been busy busy busy, and as Karlslass said, not boring at all. Love the outside bathroom ;D so the one with the cooker down the side of the house is the outside kitchen then until the proper one is complete. Looks like you've got quite a lot done so far. The worst bit is when you've stripped every thing out and you think OMG what have we let ourselves in for, then there's all the crap to get rid of. Once thats done and you start to put it all back together again it's a great feeling to see it all come together. The new window looks so much better. Love the floor boards, doors and skirting boards, looks like one door has a board over it Upstairs look great and what great views you have. Great fireplace in that bedroom and I know you've outed them but I did like the taps on the bath. Very looking phones ;D Keep at it. Look forward to seeing the next update, and it really isn't boring at all, keep um coming

I'm going to take those taps off I think but I've got nowhere to put them now so might flog them.
The bath is cast with feet but isn't ornate or anything. The taps are in really good nick though.
And yes, it was a bit like "oh god what have we done?!" when we first got in there. However, it's starting to look a wee bit better now. I think.

You've made fantastic progress April! Loved looking at your pics. ;D BTW, I'm sure you could get a bit of something for that bath and taps, even if it is plain! We've just had one restored and it's worth about £1500 now. Why dont you put it on e-bay?

Not boring April - I love looking at other people's houses! YHou al have certainly been working very hard. When we moved in July 2006 all I wanted to do was the garden. We only decorated bedrooms. We have the before and after pictures and that is very satisfying. I think I would have kept the bath though Good luck April! PJ

Not boring at all! At least working on the inside over the winter leaves the garden for the summer!! And what a garden - looks like its a nice size and you can start from scratch <notenvioussmiley>
We are hoping to do our bathroom this year - tiles are about 30years old so its about time - I've put up with them for 23 years myself! OH has promised me a corner whirlpool bath - nice if it comes to pass!
Sorry to hijack your thread - keep the pics coming!

The bathroom isn't really big enough for the bath unfortunately. I would have liked to have kept it.
I can't wait to get started on the garden but I'm even more lost looking at that than I was when we first got in the house! I know I don't have enough plants to go in it (no really, I don't... you can NEVER have enough plants anyway!) and I don't want to just plonk them all in willy nilly nor just plonk them all in one bit of the garden "for now". It will have to be one or the other to start with though won't it?!

getting them connected lol then the bathroom is being installed so we'll have a working toilet with a door on the room an everyfink! We've mainly been waiting for the central heating to go in. Once that and the windows have been done we can get cracking on everything else. The blinds are ready to be installed once we've finished decorating, everything is still in storage, just need to get the carpets down and move all the stuff back in. Nothing else to buy hopefully...
