Strictly Come Dancing 2018

Yes I did'nt know him at all before strictly but given that he's a Dr. and a childrens one at that, I'd say he has all the parents as well as staff voting for him as well. He does seem really excited about being on and a lovely guy.

Stacey is great especially since she has no dance experience Auricula but I'm not a Kevin fan.

I missed it all as we flew back to the UK! Got back to read the results on FB!

Not surprised really - folk seem surprised that Kate wasn't involved in the dance off.

Kate was quite badly injured Jasmine she stripped one of her thoracic muscles. Very painful. I thought she was clearly in pain on Saturday night although she hid it well. Likely had lots of pain killers before the show. Perhaps folk voted for her to stop her having to dance again. Not sure, but I was glad she was'nt in the dance off.

At least Dr. Ranj went out on a high, his dance the week before was awful.

I watched the results show last night and Dr Ranj was such a happy chappy!

The way things stand in my opinion:
3 ringers - Ashley, Faye and Danny
2 journeys from previously non dancers - Stacey and Joe
4 alsorans - Kate,Lauren,Graeme and Charles
I don't think there will be any shock eliminations, the "alsorans" will go in the next 4 weeks
I think the final 4 will be Ashley,Faye,Stacey and Joe.
I hope Stacey wins ( she has an accent not unlike mine )
I'll miss Blackpool week

Who know with the fickle public voters Auricula - a lot of people seem to be rooting for Stacey, but Joe seems to have quite a strong following (not taken to him myself). I like Danny, and he's older

I've always thought right from the start that it was Joe's to loose, as all his thousands of followers are quite tech savy enough to do the three votes every Saturday even if they don't watch the show, he's actually grown on me and I find him quite likeable.


I'm weird with the 3 ringers, Danny I like but he's not quite such a good dancer as I was expecting to be, Ashley I can't stand, she's probably a very nice woman, but she sets my teeth on edge and yet I really like Faye and she's just as much a ringer as Ashley is.


I'd quite like Stacey to win too Auricula, she's seems like she's having such a laugh, but I have to vote through gritted teeth because kevin

I agree about Faye, whom I like and Ashley, who irritates me enormously ( although I love Pasha .... my other gp )
Joe has grown on me but I can't believe he's 27 ( old age talking )

I've really grown to like Joe, he seems a lovely guy. The girls like him as well and we give him some votes every week.

I think it's impossible for me to say who I think will win at this stage Auricula. I've not taken to Faye at all and you all know what I think of Kevin. I think Stacey has been great and I do think the judges would be likely to save her and Kevin above just about anyone. I do like Ashley and Pasha.

I was a fan of Danny before the show but have gone off him now. I somehow confused his own personality with that of his character in Murder in Paradise.

Hope Danny goes home, but as long as Stacey, Graeme and Joe are safe I'll be happy

Really enjoyed last night - haven't actually sat down, not moved and watched the whole thing through this year.

It's interesting that in the Dance Off Craig is often the only one of the 4 voting to keep one certain couple in - happened again last night apparently.

Apparently so.....Craig for the couple who went ( hoorah that they've gone ) and the others for the victors

I enjoyed the show on saturday night as well. At this stage they all bring something good to the dance floor, and some of the dances are really wonderful. My preference is for the ballroom dances although I do enjoy most of the charleston dances too. What about everyone else, latin or ballroom, as defined by strictly ?

Ballroom for me, it can be so elegant ( and I'm old enough to remember the original Come Dancing programme.....all those sequins )

Did anyone watch the children in need strictly last night? I did'nt see it at the time but found it on youtube this morning. I thought Boyzone were very good.

Blackpool tonight, I wonder who will be leaving.

I missed all of CiN Ladygardener but have seen little bits of this and that - mostly the thing Eastenders did.

Enjoyed Blackpool last night - wasn't sure who would leave off the bottom of the leaderboard but didn't think it would be the person it was.

I really enjoyed Blackpool as well, often with the extra dancers on the floor there's too much going on but the show at the weekend was different. I was sad to see Kate leaving, as far as I could see, all Graeme did was dance along with a chorus line and he did'nt have Ote in hold at all. Yes Jasmine apparently the back of Kate's dress was like it was because of the medical tape she is still wearing because of her injury. She comes across like a really lovely lady who enjoyed her experience.

I think so too Ladygardener, wondered why Kate's dress looked so lumpy at the back - that explains it.

Missed Blackpool but glad Graeme stayed Next ones out ( in no particular order ) imo will be......Graeme, Lauren, Charles ( imaging Karen never having had a 10 before ) Then.... a ringer.... a semi- ringer and 2 journeypeople. Hopefully Kev'nStace will triumph

What a shambles the Lindyhopathon scoring was and what a lot of fun predictive text had with that on FB!!! Ashley's face when she thought she was 7th!

Sad to see Graeme go although he possibly only had one more week - how much longer can Lauren survive the dance off?

Yes the Lindyhopathon was a mess for sure. DS went crazy when the mix up with the scores happened. I was very surprised Lauren was'nt in the dance off, I'd say she might not be so lucky next week. Graeme was happy enough on ITT last night and I think he knew his days were numbered.

As someone said on the FB spoiler thread, you know you're in trouble when Bruno is the voice of calm & reason.

I've not really got into this series, but I'm coming to agree with Auricula, that I want Stacy to win, she got a couple of votes from me on Saturday, not a traditional Paso but I loved it, her chasing Kevin up the floor stomping about like an angry turkey.

The shows at the weekend were great. I enjoyed every one of the dances for some reason or another. I was surprised to see Ashley and Pasha in the dance off again but glad they went through over Charles and Karin. Semi final next weekend and we won't be able to watch the show live on Saturday night as Jenny and the girls are coming up and we're going to the Panto. Oh yes we are.
