Well, love the introductions so far and really enjoying how they are introducing them. Not sure who Joe Sugg is so will have to have a google. Also not keeping up with the cheese link - will have to look into that! Think I saw that Neil is going to get a celebrity partner this year - he is taking Brendan's place  |

Joe Sugg is a you tube vlogger it said in the paper, not heard of the DJ from Capital Radio, Vick Hope, either. Doesn't matter though as long as they have a good go at the dancing. I've already got Danny down as my favourite  |

I'm hoping Danny comes across as well as he does in Death In Paradise, I really like him. All of the others, I've had to google. It's interesting 'tho that Danny's biography says he's a dancer and Faye Tozer's does as well. Cricketer Graeme Swann is the latest name to add to the mix.
We've 3 new professional dancers as well I see. Two male and 1 female.

I wondered that too. I felt an undercurrent in the reference to the other admins, could be just me though. I did wonder if there were differences of opinion of the group content  Or it could be someone with a grudge who keeps messaging her. Can be wearing sometimes. |

I saw that Ashley Roberts has caused a bit of an uproar on some sites as she is thought to be a 'semi pro' dancer....she was labelled as a dancer when she was on the panel of Dancing on Ice..

There have been calls for same sex dancers for a couple of years Barbara. I wonder if it will happen one day in the not too distant future. |

I don't mind if they have same sex couples as long as one of them wears a frock and the other suitable male attire. The costumes are as much a part of the show as the dancing. I do think that some people would not be voting on the quality of the dancing if they do though, it is how folk are, either too keen to support or too against it.

I enjoy looking at the costumes as well, that and the glitter is all part of the strictly experience for me.
Olympic medal winner Lauren Steadman, Actor Charles Venn, Susannah Constantine and Blue singer Lee Ryan have all been confirmed now.

I had an email from the BBC asking me if I wanted to apply for tickets to see the show. The date of the 1st ticket is Saturday 22nd September so I'm guessing that'll be the 1st show then and applications are available for each week thereafter. As to the actual launch, I don't know. The final will be on 15th December.

Thanks for that Ladygardener, I notice the line up is free of anyone who is just there for the 'comedy' side, so if they can all learn the dances it should be a good season. |
