I'm quite liking Diane and Roberts tango too....
Although I don't know what they have put on Diane's hair as it is far too shiny..looks like it's been greased down...

We enjoyed it too, Jenny and I were on the phone during the show a few times. I don't know what on earth wardrobe were doing with the costumes 'tho, they were dire this week. Tess however is looking great and I really liked her outfit. John and Johannes and AJ and Kai were tops for us as well but I did like Robert and Diane as well, they were much better than last week.
Shirley seemed in better form than last year but I thought Anton was marking some people just a little low.
It's hard to know who will be in the bottom 2 and I've not heard of a spoiler yet either.

Been looking at the spoilers this morning as I really wouldn't have wanted to guess what the result might be but it makes sense I suppose. Always sad for the first person out though....and their pro.
Diane's hair completely matched her dress! Motsi's hair was interesting. Judi's twerk was excellent and Rose is amazing but I got thinking what it would be like not to be able to hear music and what a joy it is even if the music gets slaughtered a bit on SCD sometimes!

I thought it was a shame that Nina had to leave, I thought she did really well in the dance off and for some reason I'm just not impressed with Katie at all. Is movie week always the 3rd week in? seems really early to me.

It seems early to me too Ladygardener, but I suppose there has to be a gap between that and Hallowe'en. I agree completely about Nina and Katie. It's funny - I've not taken to Katie at all and I thought Nina had more to give. Katie is obviously working very hard on Hollyoaks and not getting as much time as she might like for practise. I felt sorry for Neil too. |

Yes I think Katie will have to train a bit harder if she wants to stay in Jasmine. She does'nt seem to be as excited to be a contestant as many of the others are..... Yes I felt for Neil as well. I wonder will Tom and Amy be back this weekend. |

Oh that's good Jasmine thanks. Strictly related, I've heard Brendan Cole has been signed to do Dancing on Ice. There was talk about Arlene Phillips being signed up as judge but a spokesperson for ITV in the radio times has come out saying that is'nt the case and there will only be 3 judges for the new series, Jayne, Christopher and Ashley. |

Really enjoyed last night's show, there are some amazing dancers. Rob and Dianne must have such a lot of fun in training - he is a hoot! AJ was brilliant as was Rose. Very surprised at the dance off result....

Missredhead, I agree with you about Shirley and the glasses. I think Judi seemed more interested, excited about the strictly experience but there was'nt much in the 2 dance offs. I loved Rose and Govanni both their dancing and as a couple but John and Johannes stole the show for me, their dance was powerful and moving at the same time.

I wonder if Katie was struggling with her Hollyoaks commitments, she just didn't seem to be caught up in the sparkle. John and Johannes were great Ladygardener, and so were Kai and Johannes in the opening show. |

I have to admit that when I first heard of the same sex couple I thought that it was going to be like last year's one..a bit insepid but I have to say that Johannes has pulled it out of the bag...he is amazing and shows John's strengths.... They definitely deserved top marks.....I too loved the opening dance..

I agree with you Missredhead, the wrong person went home, no way was Judi swivveling her feet in either dance I can Charleston better than that so I think she should have gone, I'm not taking to Dan, all the others seem to be trying hard and looking good. |

I knew the theme to opening the show was going to be what it was as Johannes had spoken about it somewhere that I'd seen. He and Kai shared an apartment together years ago when they were both in "Burn the floor" and they've come a long long way. The SA accent is my favourite in the world and apart from how well he moves, I could listen to Johannes all night/day.
