Just read that Robert's doctor has said he should stop doing Strictly so he and Dianne are leaving the show. He has a heart condition apparently.  |

Did he not know about it? Perhaps all the training brought it to the fore. I don't think he'd have won, it will mean a week that someone doesn't go I expect, so good news for someone.

Comedian Robert, who is 49, revealed he had open heart surgery two years ago. Due to the nature of his illness, he is in a long period of recovery.
While he initially believed he would be well enough to compete, long-standing conditions means it is no longer possible.

I'm pretty sure he will have discussed things with his Dr before he started. The thing is, I don't know if all the celebs realise just how much training is needed if you want to stay in the competition and maybe too, how stressful it all is.

Ugo is out for this week too....I think as Robert is out permanently they shouldn't send anyone home this week...
Also...how does anyone feel about Janette on it takes two? I like her but she is driving me crazy on it...bring back Zoe.....

I'm not impressed with Janette unfortunately, she constantly does'nt seem to let the guests answer the questions before she starts talking again. I think I'll just watch when Rylan is on from now on.
Jenny had said about Ugo being out this week and I've read that he's had disc problems and surgery in the past. I do think nowadays the celebs seem to be under more pressure to spend hours training for the shows instead of just a couple a day. Most on the show are very competitive and it seems to me like they try to outdo each other whit the amount of hours they train for.

It was interesting to watch Ian Waite & Vincent Simone on breakfast news the other day, they both said that the training and hours are much more intensive now, far more competitive training schedules for professionals and celebs. They are earning their money to stay in the competition but it will take its toll

It was interesting to watch Ian Waite & Vincent Simone on breakfast news the other day, they both said that the training and hours are much more intensive now, far more competitive training schedules for professionals and celebs. They are earning their money to stay in the competition but it will take its toll I did'nt see them but totally agree Tig. Still, we're looking forward to tonight. I wonder will Jasmine get to see it as she's away. |

Glad to hear you got back for strictly Jasmine. Last night's show went well time wise we thought. I liked seeing proper training videos as well. The dances, well Greg really needs to go I think, there's just something off putting about him, apart from him not being a great dancer. None of the dances blew me away last night although some were really good and some a bit of a disappointment. Loved Motsi's hair and make up, don't like Anton as a judge now and what was wrong with Craig.... I'm normally fairly in tune with his scores but not so much last night. I have read on DS who the bottom two are but not who goes home. |

Gosh, how many dance offs can one person be in? I think Craig got out of bed on the wrong side yesterday Ladygardener! I thought the scoring was odd all round really, how did Rose end up so far down the leader board, it was like they scored lower at the start of the show then went mad as the show progressed, apart from Craig who was just grumpy the whole time! I like Craig, he was just grumpy last night! |

I admit that of the 2 couples in the dance off I was glad to see Craig go home. I could'nt take to him at all and his dancing was dreadful although I do like Karin.
I agree with you about Rose, she's such a beautiful person, her excitement and enthusiasm is lovely to watch.

So Judi won't be dancing this weekend, it was announced yesterday that she has tested positive for covid. No word about Graziano but I'd say if he was positive too they'd have said. They announced on ITT last night that they hope to be back to dance next weekend.

Jasmine, Barbara, he's coming back for the tour. Anton is touring himself with Erin next year. We were shocked to see Rhys in the dance off!!!!! Although he is very hyper, we thought he did well on Saturday night. Just goes to show. I was'nt at all surprised to see Ugo in the DO but his Rhumba was'nt very good. Like most of the others, I did'nt know who he was when the show started but gosh, what a lovely guy he turned out to be. I'm pretty sure he's relieved not to have to dance and do all that practicing 'tho as he recovers from his surgery and ongoing injuries must have really ached at times.
