You have a great pile of JRs there, Netherfield but might I suggest you reduce the photo a bit? Are they related?

Not related at all, Don't know how to reduce it. Hi Netherfield, I didn't realise that you weren't online. I have resized your image from the original 1600 x 1200 down to a more manageable 640 x 480 as it was distorting the page width on the board. This is how to do the same thing yourself... Open PhotoBucket and look immediately above the image. Click on Edit. Of the resize options available, 640 x 480 is effectively the optimum size for use on Message Boards, so select this and click ok. Please bear in mind that PhotoBucket resizing options are irreversible. Having changed the image size for you, the smaller image is now hosted in my PhotoBucket Account. If you want to upload the smaller image to your own PhotoBucket account, select the (or upload from a web url) option, and paste this url into the box... i87.photobucket.com/albums/k129/Spruance_2006/dogsmay052.jpgThanks, Spruance

Aw JLottie he is gorgeous!!! I like your JR too! Netherfield your photo reminded me of when I was little - my grandfather always had JRs and I can still remember the one he had when I was a toddler - I remember it being about 1metre long and fairly tall - I must have been tiny!!!

Jackson has disgraced himself, OH and daughter took him to the vet tonight (I refuse to get in a car with him as he runs round in circles barking no mattter how long he is in there for), he's been scratching and need a steroid injection again. Whilst he was at the vet he had his glands checked as he had begun to pong a bit. 2 mins out the vet he messed in the back of the car, OH couldn't pull over straight away and daughter was ill out of the car window. OH managed to pull over a few minute later and was ill in a layby where the mess was disposed of, needless to say the only one who was happy was Jackson - I haven't laughed so much for ages. Jeffrey is growing at an alarming rate, he's not 4 months old yet, glad it wasn't him in the back of the car

Oh dear! Shouldn't laugh but... Having their glands messed with does seem to stimulate such a reaction! Happily the P's is almost immediate, he does it on the vet's floor!

I really couldn't stop laughing ;D and am still giggling now - OH was certainly not impressed, which just made me laugh more. Jack is a lot happier today and seems to have stopped scratching The visit to the vets has given daughter something to think about as they are starting a dental section (she's a dental nurse) and has been invited to their opening day, she is hoping to do some voluntary work - she has always wanted to work with animals.

Thought it was about time I added my dogs to this thread The JR's are Bee and Gemma they were our 1st two dogs and they were sisters, Wren the Lab joined the family later. We lost Bee and Gemma quite close together so introduced a new sister to Wren, this was Teal as a puppy We now only have Teal and here she is all grown up 12yrs old While I have been loading these pics OH has fell asleep in his recliner and she has crept up on the bottom and gone to sleep too.

You really need to catch him doing it and repremand him there and then. A simple deep firm NO is all you need then walk or turn away, if he continues do it again. He'll hopefully soon get the message that it makes you cross. I'm very lucky with Teal, but I do on occasions have to let her know who's the boss bit like the OH ;D.

WHAT a gorgeous puppy - I'm jealous - I'm not allowed any more animals, OH would leave home (hmmm.....). My sister is visiting this weekend with her new Border Terrier puppy, Benjy, which will also make me broody (we had a wonderful BT when we were all kids). Jlottie, your Jeffrey is the same cross as my dog, Toby, who is the best and nicest tempered dog in the world. He was beautiful when a baby but very silly and not obedient (no concentration at all) but never nasty. He's now 7 and you really couldn't ask for a better dog but it did take about 3 years......

He's really lovely isn't he? What a good dog! I think you're maligning him.....my dog doesn't look much like him despite being the same cross. He has a spaniel's curly ears. Do you remember Dill the dog from the Herb Garden (kiddies programme from years ago)? My Toby looked like him when a baby.
