OH is doing chilli tonight, well he's caught up on the playstation atm so we could be eating at midnight, but that's the plan. Apparently he couldn't get into the kitchen earlier as someone was sowing seeds out there

We had shepherds pie, mashed swede, brussels, carrots and leeks and cheese sauce. Hope OH is running up a hot cross bun now!

Oh Lord no, OH gets them out of a packet but he does toast them nicely and melts the butter properly! He is a hotter upper...but he is good at it! Do you think I might get asked to be Poet Laureate?

We had roast chicken at Mum's followed by Rhubarb crumble, made with her own Rhubarb that she pulled yesterday

We had roast loin of pork with roasties,broccoli,carrots,cauli and leek gratin,mash,stuffing and apple sauce followed by chocolate pear tart with clotted cream and raspberries - it was all very yummy why is it you enjoy food more when you don't have to cook it?

There wasn't room for a candle, and it wasn't a special birthday, just another year older I've made a casserole with beef, onions, carrots, tatties and black eyed beans. I shall stick some dumplings in it too

We had spaghetti & meatballs, with a low fat hot cross bun for pud (don't toast quite as well as normal ones, but lovely just the same)

We had chicken breasts stuffed with stuffing and wrapped in bacon, then we had bread and butter pudding and custard.
