I must admit that it would annoy me a lot just to have leaves - I'd rather have the dwarf that I have got than that.
Wasn't there a way of making it flower - I thought someone on the board mentioned something?

Well RF thats what I have just done, you are supposed to let the bulbs rest for a while (cut leaves off, leave in a cool dark place etc) and when you repot them bring them into the warm and light and hey presto ...... flower. Nope. Dont work. Which means I am going to have to wait another year and start again its not fair.................

Still got leaves only on all mine .............. Im not playing anymore and Im gonna tell my Dad of you lot It's probably not got enough energy stored up to produce flowers Karlslass. Mine from last year has only got leaves but it's made a new bulb too. I'm hoping that it will flower next year. Keep feeding yours, and put it in a fairly sunny spot, then hopefully it will get sorted for next year.

I have just had a bit of a surprise with my dwarf - it still hasn't grown anymore but the flower was supposed to be red and then white in the middle. Instead it has white markings and is filled or a double or however you want to call it. Rather nice even if I say so myself. RF

I must say that I think the tones in yours are really beautiful. I can see that a red one would be easier to see ........so next year you will no doubt have a gorgeous red one as well.
