Will check the label on that Viola tomorrow, if I go up the garden now I'm bound to tread on something slimey or crunchy ;D Love your last lot of purples. The Clem is very elegant looking with the white edge First flowers on Lagoon, it's hanging over into the dog kennel, hope Teal appreciates it ;D The Lavendar my friend gave me for helping her with her garden the other week

I dug a small plant up from the woods and brought it home five years ago - this plant has now spread rapidly and is great for keeping down the weeds.. I think it could be called Wild Violet ?

Yes that looks like a wild violet Jenny - I hope you don't regret putting it in your garden It's a cutie Chuckles. LP's is called Columbine! And the clematis is Blue Eclipse. I first saw it at Wollerton Old Hall a few years ago now and managed to track it down a year or so later.

I think this is purple . It's Papaver Orientale 'Patty's Plum' in full bloom (but I had to nip out into the garden between showers to take the photo )
