I reckon that's blue GH. Is that Splish-splash? It's gorgeous. How big? It's a strange one because in 'real life' it's a very pale lilac colour, don't know which variety of Geranium it is but I'm sure it can't be Splish-Spalsh as there aren't enough Splishes or Splashes on it ;D Can't even remember where I got it from Must admit I am pleased with the photograph as it shows off the veining beautifully

Hello jlottie and paramedig sorry I mean Skarloey The one over the arch is about 8 years old and the one on the trellis about 3 years old I love the colour and they are so easy to look after - they get a really good 'chop-down ' in the Spring and away they go

Gorgeous Sara! Are they Surfinias or normal Petunias? And was that 2 different types, single and double? Fantastic veining!

Wow GH! I'm surprised it's flowering in this weather! (looks like it's outside) Does it make fruit ok?
|
|
|
Post by Deleted on Jul 4, 2007 17:42:07 GMT
Yes it is outside on the patio, it lives the winter in the greenhouse!! And it makes a few small fruit each year - the fruit is usually reserved for one very large Gin and Tonic and my Christmas Cake ;D
I'll get the camera out again when they open!!

I gave my mum a lemon tree for Christmas last year and it's growing it's first lemon - we are all SOOOOO excited ;D It's lovely to hear that they can be successful, but I don't think M&D put theirs outside - it's pretty big!
