Hi RF.
It was one when I bought it about 4 years ago. Up until this year it was in a pot half that size so it certainly appreciates some space.

Can you leave it growing all the time then or does it die down normally.
I have to take all my tubers/corms etc out for the winter and re-plant them in the spring.

RF It dies right back in winter and seems pretty tough. No need to take it in but all my other Arum lilies go in the greenhouse for winter.

Thanks Mick - I wouldn't dare leave it out here with our winter temps but if it gets to look like yours in a few years I will be very happy indeed.

It didn't seem to mind RF, it looks a picture of health! I thought this lily has a japanese look, sort of pagoda leaves and still on the Japanese them, this is the Japanese Painted Fern I moved earlier this year, it didn't seem to mine either x Tig

Thanks for posting that pic of the Guilder Rose. A wildlife friendly friend, has given me a small one for the allotment. He says it will be good for the visiting wildlife. I did'nt realise it has such a lovely flower.

Thanks for the noms everyone i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/smiley.gif . I agree it is terrible stuff to deal with, mine gets a hack back in January most years. It does cover up a hideous breeze block wall that used to be part of the neighbours garage. My neigbours aren't the brightest & they demolished the rest of the garage and left a totaly unsupported wall right on my boundary, I think the Ivy is the only thing holding it up. Jillyx
