What with Chuckles getting all the old colour threads back to the surface I realised we are missing some colours. So here is green. Perhaps I can tempt Plocket to start a black thread? Any other ones?

The hair alliums are WEIRD aren't they? I love them though! And I really must get my euconomis out of the garage and start watering it ready for spring - they are pretty cool aren't they? As for my pixie - it died off this winter so I've replaced with with Cartmanii Joe because I think it's a bit tougher. I've got Joe in a pot though rather than putting it in the ground, and hopefully that will help too. ;D

I have the hair allium as well. They are weird indeed and already poking their noses above ground again. Nice greens Plocket. Have you got your Eucomis potted up yet ? Mine is still wrapped up in a newspaper waiting for me to pot it up again. I am not sure about the right time to do it yet.

My euconomis live in a pot - I don't bother to lift them but do add chicken pellets at the end of the season and at the beginning. I too think it's a bit early - I usually get mine out in mid-March. As you have much colder weather I'd say it was MUCH too early Dutchy.

Jenny they look so good. Have you overwintered the bulbs and are you replanting or do yours survive in the ground?

I await in anticipation the Allium Hair. Finally got round to buying them, and seeing your pictures again on this thread Plocket has got my hopes up! One of my two euphorbias: Wasn't sure where to put the clem [I'm sure it's early Sensation] , but the prominent colour to me is green. it's looking lovely at the moment, lots of buds trailing over the playhouse waiting to burst open. My terrible photographic skills do not do it the justice it deserves.

I hope you like your alliums Jonah - I think they are fab and can't wait to see mine again this year Make the most of the pics Plocket, I may not get flowers like that again . I had to move it yesterday to make way for the new turf and tree coming down in the future. The bottom is in a bucket at the moment, been well watered, but flowers are looking very droopy today.
