Mrs FA has gone to Tesco so I'm looking after the demon boy for a couple of hours. I was just looking through the library on my media player and saw an album I haven't listened to for ages. It's called "Still Life" by a band called The Listening Pool. "Who ?". yes, I know no-one will have heard of them. They were formed by 3 members of my favourite band (OMD) when they split up. They only released one album but it's classic listening for a lazy Sunday morning when it's too soggy to take the demon boy out into the garden.

PS - OMD have re-formed and are touring again in May. I'm going to see them at Hammersmith Apollo on 18 May. 10th time I'll have seen them live but first time in 15 years. I think I've died and gone to heaven !

There's a song on that album that I think is absolutely magnificent - "Saint". One of my absolute favourite songs.

I've just been listening to Brian Ferry's 'Dylanesque' album. I'm not generally a fan of Mr Ferry's solo adventures...but this album is growing on me...I screwed up my courage to listen to his version of 'All Along the Watchtower' (Robin Trower on guitar)...and was really surprised at how much I liked it. Groovy Baby.

Well, we bought the little (bigger than me) woman the Take That CD as part of her birthday stocking. Now I LOVED Take That first time round and I was a bit skeptical about their reunion BUT.... it's GREAT!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
