Thanks WeeTerrier! I must admit that having this camera has opened up a whole new world in the garden for me! For those who've already asked, it's a Fuji S7000 which I bought second hand off my brother S x Erm................I think we've noticed that Susie ;D my new camera does close-up portrait photographs, which my old one didn't. My wee Grandson is heartily sick of me snapping him at close range. ;D ;D How would you feel if some one was constantly poking a cam in your face. Do keep the pics though once he grows up he will love to have them. Close up is such a good thing on a cam eh? I love playing with it too.

Now things are getting colder these get more rare. This one enjoyed the warmth of the wall after having escaped a spiders web.

Those are 'wow' Rita. What's happening in that last pic though? Looks like something gruesome. Predator and prey?

Suzie S asked if this could be moved here - but it will leave some odd comments on the wildlife thread! So I hope no-one minds it appearing on both threads It is Pentatoma rufipes (Linnaeus) - aka Forest Shield Bug

The little green critter is a shieldbug nymph. We found some in our garden eating the aphids on a lupin so I looked it up.
