The last couple of days have been frosty starts, but as usual wall to wall blue skies and sunshine goes with starts like that, we were frozen at the football last night, took ages to defrost the car to come home, mulled wine was the order when we did get here.

Another -3c overnight, and still not above freezing despite blue skies. The garden is white, and the frost does look pretty

We had a snow shower very early this morning, very frosty and cold, but nice to look at as you say Tig and much better than rain

So, so cold. Took Brenna for a quick walk round the playing field, we could be quicker than usual as she has to stay on her lead.

Same here with the snow Tig, it's not gone away ,it does look nice though, people are snowed in in Cumbria, I remember much deeper snow when everyone just got on with everything, what's happened to people these days.

It does look super clean everywhere - and it was so bright looking out of the window during the night with it all reflecting light. I don't think folk are as hardy these days Barbara, we've got used to central heating, even heated car seats My Dad always had snow chains in the boot in winter, and a spade & a small bag of rough sand. I'm not even sure if you could put snow chains on todays vehicles. Wonder why they didn't have more gritting vehicles & snow ploughs out in Cumbria though, they had enough warning it was coming. It is just above freezing at the moment, and it has thawed a bit off the cars, but not so much in the garden.

I know that I am feeling the cold because I am weak after the Hospital but minus 8/10C is NOT as cold as minus 1/2C....thankfully it is supposed to get a bit warmer later on in the week and the snow will go....
