It started raining just after lunch and hasn't stopped. Not as cold as it was but with a gusty wind blowing it isn't nice out.

Started thawing yesterday - woke up to snow having fallen in the night and still coming down...we have to shift and salt/grit from 7 am to 9am each day, all day!!

Hope your neighbours will help you out RF, it is a ridiculous expectation for residents to undertake. People out at work, the disabled, sick or elderly can't all be capable of doing it, the local authority should be responsible and a charge added to whatever local taxes are paid to cover the cost.
Dull & dismal here, bit milder though.

We had incredibly strong winds and it's still really windy but at least we got back safe and sound despite storm Elin trying her best. We have storm Fergus coming tomorrow..

Not far from us there were 50mph gusts recorded overnight! Raining now and more gales expected this aft apparently, I must have missed that on yesterdays forecast.

When we went up to bed it was a lovely clear frosty night and minus 3, woke up this morning to plus 3 and horrible drizzle. ugh.

Mild but it is very dark & dismal. Overnight rain, stopped for now but from the black sky I reckon we'll be getting another downpour shortly.

It went cooler as the day progressed here but it did brighten up a bit and the sun poked through for a few minutes. Down to 6c now.

Woken up at silly o'clock by the wind whistling through the roof! Wondered if the chimney pots were likely to blow off and I should get up but decided to disappear under the covers & managed to nod off again. Still very blustery but it has been dry and is 10c at the moment. Sun has made an appearance but there is a lot of cloud about, could rain again.
