I must admit that it was deserved - Germany were useless.

I thought our RESERVES were magnificent last night,we wuped them Germans, gave them a goal, and still won,i think if we can keep progressing, under this manager,we could go a long way in the world cup,Barbara,i really enjoyed that game, the whole team were up for it,fought for every ball,Stewart Downing was my,M O T M,never seen him play so well for England.

I dont blame Carson, unless he called for Terry to leave it for him,Terry, being captain and a senior player, should have taken control of the situation, andcleared it,he had plenty of time.

That certainly was a rude reality check for the Reds, wasn't it. They look likely to end the season without a single trophy. Again. All they can hope for now is for Man U to have another serious stumble in the Premier League, and that they continue winning.

Man Utd, Chelsea & Arsenal in the semi-finals of the Champions League, Man Utd, Chelsea & Arsenal in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, Man Utd, Chelsea & Arsenal in 3 of the top 4 places in the Premier League, Man Utd won the Carling Cup Don't you think top flight football is becoming just a teensy weensy bit boring and predictable ? I must admit, I find it pretty dull nowadays. Yes, you do get the odd game like the Chelsea Liverpool game which was exciting but generally it's becoming more like Scottish football, where only 2 teams are ever challenging for the league. I'd love to see Liverpool win the league just to have someone different win it for a change. The technical ability may not be as good but I prefer watching lower league footie at the moment because it's more exciting and unpredictable. I think we need to adopt an NFL type system where the teams have a salary cap and the worst teams one year get to pick the best new players the next season so that you don't get one or just a few teams dominating all the time.
