Could anyone tell me when it would be OK to plant my SP seedling outside please. They have been in the cold frame for some time now and I just wondered if it was OK to plant them out yet.

Hi C52 I think it is ok but you have to take maybe two weeks to harden them off.
Although sweetpeas are pretty hardy, going from a CF to ouside in one go when there still is frost at night...
I would not like to be one of your sweet peas then ;D

Hi Carolann,i wouldnt put them out now in this cold spell we are haveing,i would wait until at least mid March,and then as Dutchy said,harden them off first.

Thanks guys will keep them in the CF till it bucks up a bit, only one thing though I forgot about putting the lid back on the CF, its been off since Sunday but I have put it back on today. Thanks again for your help. ;D
