I've just sown 2 ricinus seeds - not sure I've got room for any more than 2 plants if they both get going.

Yesterday, Jenny and I sowed the Beetroot Choggia and Bolthardy seeds. I'd soaked them between 2 pieces of kitchen roll and put it into a sealed plastic food bag to germinate. I was delighted to see all the little roots appearing. MY hands were'nt that steady to use the tweesers to place them into the cells so that's why Jenny helped me. ;D I was overjoyed last year with my 1st successful harvest after trying and failing the year before.

I've just sowed 39 dahalia seeds, I asked Sharon to lend me the electric blanket I bought her for Christmas to stand them on, to keep them nice and warm, but she said no for some reason. Anyway she'll have dahalias in spades now (fingers crossed ).
