The Works had loads of seeds 4 packets for a £1 today, and I'm hopeless at resisting a good rummage around in the tub and ended up buying 16 packets So I've sown calandrinia umbellata, paeony poppies (cream & black) in the front borders, nigella midnight in my blue border, nasturtium jewel cherry rose under the photinia and in a pot, and some pennisetum setaceum in modules. I've got four more packets which I'll sow over the weekend the rest are for next year x Tig

Look forward to seeing a photo Jas, wonder if they are as bright pink as it shows on the packet? Says they are semi-double blooms - does that just mean wonky flowers x Tig

Interestingly this pic makes them look just like they do on the packet, however, I would have said that they were a fair bit redder in real life.

Are they the ones you sent me last year Jasmine, they look like them. I thought they were great, nice and low growing and not too sprawly.

I think they might be LG - I got these at the GC and last years came off eBay but I think they had the same name

I've had a look at last years seeds, yes they're the same ones. I thought they looked familiar. I've a feeling I sowed the remainder of the seeds at the allotment this year but none of my nasturtium are flowering yet. The S&S have made a meal of some of them too I'm afraid.
