That's good FB. As long as you keep active I guess you should be able to keep it under control. Having been a farmer you must've burned lots of energy while you were working. Just watch it doesn't start creeping on round the middle (fat I mean!)

Well I've stayed the same this week. Thought as much 'cos my holiday eating mode sort of continued a bit past the holiday. And there was the wine and chocolate fest.......................
How have the rest of you done?

I've been doing splendifously, even if I do say so! Not too much wine and small portions at tea time. But I shall confess now rather than later - tonight I am having a cholesterol laden cheese and onion pie bought at Tatton yesterday. Therefore destroying the previous week's work. Ho-hum! But I'm going to enjoy it ;D

Ooopppps Sorry, I did post once but must have hit the wrong button. No change here. Been working like a dog on the garden, feel like Popeye and no change in the weight. I must up the water again, that flushes it through better, just been so busy!! Here's to Friday this week instead!!! ;D

Oh Amo. I thought you'd deserted us!! I'm so glad you haven't. So for this week we maintain the status quo. Nothing wrong with that!!!!

Well, my scales are not digital and they are a long way away from my eyes! (5'6") so it's hard for me to see. They also go in 2lb slots. Anyway, I weighed myself several times this AM with the scales in different positions. Sometimes it looked like 2lb off and others like 1lb. So I've split the difference and gone for 11/2!

No one else weighing in this week then? I've eaten enough for an army this weekend, BBQs are my downfall, but I'll still weigh in next week!

Have relapsed this weekend - wine with the Bar-b's! Although, moderated by the food - salads and small pork ribs with some home made quacamole. Not too excessive. Didn't have lunches - too busy weeding! Feeling a bit fitter but I ache a bit this morning

I just have huge salads with the BBQ food. Last time I cooked properly in the house was about 2 weeks ago, I don't think we cook in the kitchen at all in the summer!! Why be stuck in there?!?! ;D ;D ;D

Oh goodness yes keep up with the water. My tip is that if you are feeling peckish when it's not mealtime, have a big drink of water. It's good for your insides and fills you up a bit. Apparently you should drink a glass of water before a meal anyway to help fill you up and make you eat less.
I've been really good today - a slice of toast for breakfast with a glass of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. And for lunch I had mushrooms on toast - I steam them with a bit of water and some herbs so they are moist and have lots of flavour. Surely that's got to be healthy? Goodness knows what I'm doing for dinner tonight though - OH is in London and won't be home until late.

That's right SO, take it one day at a time, but do try and plan what you are going to eat so you don't end up with nothing "healthy" in and end up eating sausages!! (Listen to the voice of experience). Plocket, sounds good but don't overdo it. You do need some protein too. Today I had muesli with some extra sultanas for brekkie, followed by a mid morning banana, chiken and salad sandwich for lunch and Salmon, baked potato and salad for dinner (no salad dressing just some greek yoghurt with pickled sweet chillis added). Sounds good doesn't it? Then we come to the wine................................

Don't worry Supa - I'll have some fish or chicken tonight, and some vegetables. And I had some raspberries this afternoon.
Does wine count as protein??? ;D

No I don't think so. But it's part of your 5 a day!! Grapes you know. 5 glasses = 5 fruits!! Hic!!

And it includes water!! Now behave! A very little of what you fancy and all. I had the widliest pork chop of the barbie with heaps of salad and 1 glass tonight.
