I'm afraid I've been very bad for the last few days - but I have made up my mind that from tomorrow I will be exemplary in watching what I eat and not even have one drop of wine!! I expect to be polishing my halo by Thursday ( weigh in day!!) ;D ;D

I'll be the first again! 1/2lb this week which brings me back to a nice round figure (well, less round than it used to be actually)!!! Amazed that I lost anything this week 'cos I did some entertaining and eating out, one night fish and chips, but I've been eating salady things for lunch etc.

You're right Amo. Healthy eating is a lifestyle thing and we need to do it for the rest of our lives! Slow steady weight loss is WAY better than crash dieting. We're all going in the right direction. Ahem.............I went out to lunch today, Chinese prawn crackers sesame toast and loads of other stuff!! Didn't realise just how fattening chinese food is 'til I thought about it. However, a healthy eating lifestyle can include the occasional fat fest I think! It's a question of..........erm...........moderation.

No such thing as 'bad' P! 'Unwise' maybe but not bad. Let's all take the guilt out of eating the sorts of food we like - I've been trying to eat more healthily but do admit to taking myself off the leash on occasions. I've lost a little - my trousers now just sweep the floor a bit. Good sign ;D Dont post much but follow all your ups and downs and very much with you all in spirit. We'll get there girls

Cumbria Plocket, Kirkoswald near Penrith. Checked the 5 day forecast this AM, planned my packing accordingly, just checked it again and it's changed!!!! All I have to do now is pull out the T shirts and put in jumpers and waterproofs! Trouble is I've only got 1 pair of jeans which fit (getting back on topic), rain and new size 12 crop trousers don't really go together do they!

Thanks Plocket. We will have a good time, whatever the weather. SO, it's not willpower really just a state of mind. I still have things which are unhealthy but not many. Had my first bag of crisps for 12 weeks today. Didn't really enjoy them so probably won't bother for another 12 weeks!! Anyway, Chilli, loads of bread and wine tonight..............after all, it IS Friday!!

I daren't weigh!!! I have started my fitness regime though (today) to tie in with my healthier eating. I went for a mile walk today, and intend to do it at least three times a week, and also increase the distance to 3 miles eventually, which will have me in good stead for the Race for Life too.

Well done Plocket!!! I have been in the garden since 7am today with hardley any stops and doing really heavy work too. I should be thinner than my rake!! But I forgot to weigh again

I might be in the garden from 7.00am but that doesn't mean I'm actually gardening!!! ;D The main thing is that you are keeping active Amo, which is why I've started walking because I don't think I'm active enough. At least the weather is nice at the moment - there's nothing worse than having to be active when it's cold or wet
