You really don't want to know If I confess here I'll feel very naughty. Just today I popped into a GC on the way home. It was screaming at me to do so, like they do. Just a few (10 for £15 little ones) perennials and some seeds. £65. I do have lots of bare soil you know!!!

Feel quite tight now looking at all the gorgeous plants you have all been buying. I bought two large pots of Thyme and a double Hellebore last week from Wilkinsons and yesterday a box of assorted Hostas. I always feel sorry for Wilkinsons stuff as there is someone in the store 24 hours. The poor things never go to sleep and they hardly ever water their plants. Saying that I was talking to a nice lady who worked at night stacking shelves but asked to work days on the garden section as she too felt sorry that so many plants were neglected and left to die. So there is hope in the Redditch store. CJ

I haven't managed to get to a good plant place yet. But I REALLY am tight for space now that I'm digging up plants to replace with vegetables. And I have very little lawn left to dig up Plus I have all the Gladioli bulbs to find room for. There is only one solution. Move house. ;D

I consider that I've been quite restrained really....over the past few weeks I've bought :
6 v old, thin, small terracotta pots (from a junk shop...cost me £3 for 6) 2 large, black ceramic plant holders for pot plants in the house. 1 small applemint plant 1 small French thyme plant. 1 lollipop myrtle plant. 2 tickets for G.W. Live (Thursday 12th)
About 60 3" square pots About 10 bags of various types of compost.
I have sooooo many seedlings that I don't have room for wot else atm

Well I feel better after confessing the other day ;D I did forgot to mention 8 terracota pots that I bought recently 4 largish ones that are currently sat on an old rug inside the front room, need OH to lift them outside. 4 medium ones that I did manage to carry outside. Well they were all bargains ;D Love everyones confessions, we should keep it up. SO, I can't believe you just bought one plant, although it is a fab looking Fatsia. Are you sure you confessed everything Amo you can't get a way with the excuse of having lots of bare soil, it's the time of year CJ your'e not tight at all you just care I had a spending binge in Wilkos a few weeks ago had a problem carrying all the bags ;D Barbara, what you need to do is sell the grass as turf and put the money towards the plants ;D CC I just love a special, unfortunately my nearest Lidl is about 16 miles away and 2 buses Isabella, you are naughty but as you said you loved my Pansies we won't tell OH what youv'e been buying BTW they are called Antique something or other, they are really frilly as they open. I'll look at the label for you Shrub gardening vouchers what excuse are you going to use when you next confess Karlslass, 2 days and still nothing to confess PG, like the tactics.....start small then go for it big time at Arley ;D jennywrenn, you'll wear yourself out doing it all in one go Wee, shall we buy a big house together and then go on a mad spending spree CPB where is this junk shop then sounds like I should take a trip on the train to Leicester ;D Tig, whats all this "another" and "another" So who's not confessed yet ;D

The 'junk shop' was at a GC just outside Newtown Linford CBB...it used to be a Mushroom farm and as well as selling plants they have 4 hyooodge old barns full of STUFF.....pine furniture, old tools etc. Your OH might like it if he likes things like wood planes...and they have a rather good tea room. I'll find out the name and post it...wouldn't make a special trip for this one tho..not that big...but you could fit in some of the other GCs in the area at the same time...

2 Astilbe Spirea 3 Eryngium Planum 3 Gypsophila paniculata 5 Liastris Spicata 2 Phlox Paniculata
Still don't know where I am going to put them and I think I have to soak the roots before planting. PJ

PJ May not be such a bargain as some of the bags contained compost and all the roots of the perennials had disintegrated. I suspect they were very old stock. Anyway to cheer myself up I went to Focus and bought some primulas £3.49 - 3 lots of 8 for the price of 2. BTW They are still selling cheap 4 tier mini greenhouses! I am tempted to buy another one.
