I have given negative feedback , don't know if anyone takes notice though. Oh and it's now broken Dee tride to push it into the soil it pinged and one of the rings broke and a bit has disappeared into the rhodas.

Email customer service Maggy. Even plastic should perform its task.

Oh nice Ladygardener! I got my lupins and caladiums from FG yesterday and a box of plants I ordered from Waitrose Gardening (they must be linked up to Crocus). Anyway, they had 20% off so I'd ordered some Aster Monch, a Photinia Little Robin and some antirrhinum that will come later.

I used my voucher today, the GC was so busy, obviously if you can't garden you can shop for the garden, I bought plants for hanging baskets and pots, a new pot for bulbs and Delphinium 'magic fountain' and Pelargonium 'bella donna', some rose feed and a large bag of compost.

Without warming a Parkers part order arrived, nemesia Lady collection. Now, where to put them once planted up as the growhouses are getting a bit overcrowded.

7 kg tub of chicken manure pellets from the Range for £9.99p, much better deal than the Doff 2.5kg for £5 at Poundland. Had a wander around their garden centre, lots of summer bedding plants which some will be tempted to buy no doubt. Not a great deal of choice in the perennials and shrubs, nothing caught my eye.

3 shuttlecock ferns. The last batch died after the neighbors workers trampled them. Got a good blue ensign pulmonaria too. Two new geranium and a pretty epimedium. As the labels are in the pots outside and we have some rain again…. No proper names, sorry

The GG had some perennials £3.99p each or 3 for £10 - I bought 2 delphinium magic fountain mixed and a digitalis suttons apricot. The s & s brigade will probably munch the delphiniums before they get to flower though.

I bought some herbs and Lily of the Valley from Dobbies and when we called into the GC on BH Monday I bought Iris Raspberry Ripple. Yesterday at Morrisons they were just setting up their outdoor GC section and I bought an erysimum like the one Ladygardener posted on FB for £3.50, a helenium, 2 white arabis and Clematis Rooguchi which Alan liked the look of!

Bought a small tray of multi-coloured lobelia, and 3 trailing fuchsias - dancing flame, kit oxtoby & Wendy's beauty from the GG, £6.10p in total. Now the post brexit checks & charges are being put in place (only too the Tories 8 years to introduce it!) I'm expecting all plants to become more expensive, along with cut flowers and all the other imports that will now incur charges, that we will end up paying for. Brexit has made such a difference (in a negative way).

Resisted buying anything from the GG but ... Sainsbos had some things reduced. I've rescued a scented tall pink dianthus which was reduced from £6 to £1.49p, a container with pink & white flowering pelargoniums which was down to £1.99 from £8, and a container grown alstroemeria which was also £1.99 from £14! The latter is a lovely deep purple and they should all perk up with some tlc.

Great bargains Tig! I forgot to confess - brought a bit of Dorset back with us...a beautiful coleus and Agapanthus Popping Purple from Abbotsbury Gardens and Desdemona from one of the local GC.

There are not many Alstroemeria that I like but this one is gorgeous Tig. And a bargain. ( Minor bout of Dutch envy creeping up....) I hope all will grow away happily now you rescued them.
Is that Desdemona the white-ish rose Jas? Good one on the Agapanthus too. Low growing and interesting colour.

Yes it is Dutchy, white with a very faint pinkish tone when it first opens Smells gorgeous! This was my haul from Morrisons this morning... The antirrhinums were £2 each, the lavenders £3 - can't remember their name but they smell amazing and the Hebe was £5!
