Yes Tiggy I think three will be OK they are scampering up the trellis so hopefully will flower soon - my sweet peas not flowered yet - I must be the "Last Gardener" on the planet - behind everyone else by many weeks
FB's sweet peas been and gone now

Oh dear moi garden this year has let me down quite a lot - my peonies didnt flower for a start - one of my fav flowers - am going to dig them up at the weekend and also my iris that is home to many slugs and snails, underground of course so I cant see them I didnt feed this year was too busy I always give everything bonemeal which helps

Three godetia out today but nothing as nice as the ones last year which were freebie seeds from Am Gardening

Have been looking for buds at the top of the stem and notice - after FB made a comment - that some of them are at the base - so could get some flowers soon

I think they are called Morning Glory as they seem to have a sunrise in the middle I am so looking forward to my first in flower I have two types so think the purple one Grandpa Otis will be the first Am not soft talking to them FB - I gave up on that years ago - never got me anywhere Keep em Keen : Treat em Mean ;D

Some fat buds this morning - shouldnt be long now - had to take some snails off them last night tho - I think I must have about six climbing upwards now - plus those that FB half inched off me ;D

You know we have bindweed problems over here. Well in Madeira.... All taken from quite a few feet up in the Funchal cable car (That's a street light in the middle photo. There were some areas that were totally electic blue from the stuff but it's hairy enough driving let alone taking photos.

Oh Amo, that takes me back. Tho' when we were there in April a few years ago it was Nasturtiums trailing down the cliff faces! Everywhere was orange! And......driving in Madeira? Hope you had a lovely hol there. Me and my Sis did.

It seems that even for a very small island, they don't do things by halves. Yes it's the weed you've been trying so hard to grow. Actually for our slightly envious eyes, it's quite a sight! The photos really don't give you the scale. Like Ruthie said, it's just cliff faces. But then there are houseplants the size of tennis courts and agapanthus are weeds, hydrangea are weeds, strelizia are weeds, bourgenvillia are weeds. It's worth going just to see the weeds!! ;D
