Amo well done for showing us those smashing pics, I'm sure it was quite a sight. Is'nt it a funny old world where some of us try so hard to grow things that others find growing like weeds.

Not got that many flowering at once but they are rapid climbers and have lovely big leaves - the leaves are sort of floppy - most odd - like they are wilting

I had 9 flowers on my MG the other day and 8 today. But didn't actually see them until they'd wilted 'cos of the weather which meant I didn't go up the garden!!!

For newbies just reading this Thread - the MG's in FB's garden are my babies grown and sown in Macclesfield with a lot of hard work bother and never again ;D I must respond to that by saying that when she gave them to me they were poor little weedy things, hadnt the strenth to stand up,think she only gave them to me cos she had given up on them, now i have fed, and nurtured them, day and night,to become the magnificent plants they now are ;D I had 23 flowers on them the other day ;D

Sorry FB, how many flowers? You didn't make it clear ;D. I have to say that if you have to nurture MGs day and night I shan't bother in future!

From a novice--When do you sow the seed for Morning Glory and do they need a greenhouse to start them off?

The more I see of them the more I like them. That's a lovely shade of pink JW and FB that's a smashing display. They do go to seed very quickly 'tho if they're not deadheaded quickly it seems.
