I managed to get a couple of pods off mine, I was foolish you see I dead headed my flowers through their growing period. Won't do that again.

No, defo can't see any seeds on mine. Thanks for the pic. I was picking off dead brown things which disintegrated in my hand! Perhaps mine was a F1 hybrid, or p'raps the seed was so old it's forgotten how to set seed.

I collected 6 seed heads off some of my Morning Glory today. There are loads more fat seed heads on the plants but none of the others are anywhere near ripe enough yet. Has anyone picked them whilst they are still white and dried them off the plant.

I have taken some more off today Chuckles - because of the predicted cold weather, not sure if they will be viable if they get frozen I took a few that were plump but not ripe over the weekend, cleaned off the outer green bits but left the stalk on and wrapped them in kitchen paper and put them on the windowsill. Today several seemed to have ripened and were black when opened. I have left those that were still green and will check them every day. Whether or not the seed is any good remains to be seen next spring x Tig

Well this wet weather has really scupered my seeds I picked a load yesterday and sat and removed the full seed heads out of the outer bit, some had gone all squigy and soft from the rain but others felt firm. I've just left them on a few layers of kitchen roll in the hope they dry out.

Jenny, although the tops of the Brugs look dead,id be surprised if the roots are,so if you could protect them from harder frosts,by heaping soil/peat on top, they may be ok,and shoot up again in the spring. Cut the dead tops off first of course
