I took some cuttings of the pelagonium I bought at Tatton park, and they are all turning brown.

All my cuttings are doing very well in Perlite at the moment - except the fuchsia's that are still in water.
Blimey Isabella - that is a hell of a lot of cuttings.....

I've got 2 little Rosa Mary Rose shrubs growing from cuttings I took from school. They worked so well I took some Boule de Neige but they were a dismal failure so I've done 3 more today.

I took 3 passiflora cuttings last week, treated them all the same and stuck them in one pot of compost, 1 is dead, 1 is a bad sad looking and the other is growing Blimey Pam, that is a lot of cuttings, hope they all survive the winter, should save you a fortune next year (and you'll be able to take more cuttings from the cuttings next spring ;D) x Tig

I think at least one of my hydrangea cuttings has taken - if so they were easy and no trouble at all!

The spare room windowsill is filling up nicely now, at least one of most of the tender perennials has produced a cutting worth potting up. Especially pleased that one of the old Daphne has produced enough root in water to be potted up & I think another one is just starting The Saliva Stampede that I only bought last week is starting to form roots (I took cuttings before I even found a home for it i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/embarassed.gif ) Jillyx

I think my Angel Pelagoniums that I took are rooted. They're all still healthy looking but I'll leave them as they are for another while before I pot them on.

I'd tried cuttings from the Gaua the bride, the original seeds came from you Jasmine, but they did'nt take. Since the 2 in the garden are a right good size now and they survived the past 2 winters, I'll keep my fingers crossed and try again in sprintime.

I think the Hebe cuttings I took from the Hebe we removed a few weeks ago have taken. I'm off out to try to take some Parahebe cuttings - not the right time of year, but you never know, do you?
