Oh WOW, what about Lisa and Brendan's performance!! Fantastic! At the other end of the scale why oh why did Tom and Camilla choose the Jive?? He is soooo good at ballroom. Were they made to choose that or was it a bad mistake? They will need more than their fair share of the public vote to survive tonight....................

I thought Lisa & Brendan did the best Argentine Tango, and Toms performances were the poorest - the judges obviously want Rachel to win IMHO At least it won't be long before we know tonight

I cannot understand why Camilla did'nt choose a ballroom dance which shows off Tom better . I felt so sorry for him. I thought Lisa and Brendans tango was great too Suparuthie and Vincent and Rachel's dances were good as usual but I just can't warm to her. I'd say Tom will be saying farewell tonight for sure. As you say Tig at least we don't have long to wait.

Well, with hindsight that result was very predictable. We usually have 3 in the final and I'm pleased Tom has another chance to shine. I think the showdance will be much more difficult for him than for the girls though. Did you see Brendan's face when they announced that all three would be in the final? He didn't look too chuffed to me.

Uhmmm - I reckon the phone vote didn't go the way they had hope - but I'm a cynic Almost tantamount to fraud - people voted expecting a result - and now they will have to contribute again (if they don't feel cheated ) x Tig

What you say is true Tig, some people vote for how well people do on the night and may not want their vote carried over to next week. What happens if the person you've voted for this week makes a real hames of their dance next week? The vote you made this week will still count which does'nt seem right. Anyhow I enjoy watching all of them and think next weeks final will be great. At this point I think any of them could win. ;D

I think they should all do the same dance, easier to compare them that way, just my opinion.

We haven't caught up with the so-called results show yet but I'm a bit cross because we phoned and voted last night. How can it be unfair for Tom if the other two get more votes - or whatever the excuse was that the Beeb gave. Granted I wanted Tom and Camilla to stay in but that doesn't mean they can fix things. I don't want my vote to go to next weeks count - I might have changed my mind by then!!!
Anyway - back to the dancing. I LOVED Tom's jive and I was really disappointed that it didn't get better scores. I MUCH preferred Lisa and Brendan's Argie Tango but got a bit cross about them going on and on about how Brendan has never danced it before and Vincent is an expert - so what? That's life! I still think Rachel will win it though.

Hesitate to step into this maelstrom, but as votes cast are to keep your chosen ones in (and they're all staying in) and generally no-one wants the competition to end (they'll all be there again to watch next week = 50% more dancing) how can the BeeB's cock-up be anything other than a bonus?

I really enjoyed the dances. I think the result is a bit of a coincidence, seeing as originally three would have been in the final.
I thought the Judges voting was very unfair this week, and they obviously wanted a Lisa/Rachel final. I'm not quite sure how they could give Lisa and Rachel 10s, when they said they made mistakes. I am still rooting for Tom though (I think he should have done another Fred Astair dance myself), but I think Plocket is right and Rachel will probably win.

I think Rachel will win, too. I quite like her but am not overkeen on Vincent.I also like the other 2 couples - but I probably won't vote as I voted on Saturday and am unwilling to throw good money after bad!! ;D

I've warmed to Vincent over the series. I really didn't like how smarmy he was when he greeted Rachel at the beginning, but she seems to have got used to him and if you watch ITT he is really nice

I saw on the BBC2 prog that one of the reasons they did it was cos they hadn't planned on the top 2 getting the same number of points and that they couldn't save the bottom one....I thought that was the idea...the one with the least points/votes goes. I don't get it...

The way the judges voted meant that whatever happened Tom HAD to be in the dance off (not necessarily go out ) and that meant that everyone who voted ( and spent money) to keep him OUT of the dance off was wasting their money and vote. I don't know why it took them so long to work this out as it was obvious..R and V 3 judges points so if they got 2 points from the public they were safe - 1 point from the public they were in the dance off with 4 points overall.L and B the same.T and C could ONLY get 4 points if they won the public vote and so were bound to be in the dance off whatever happened.Hope that helps

Genius Auricula - perhaps you should join the SCD production team, you could have saved them a lot of bad press and embarassment! Wonder if many will vote this week If Rachel is sooo good how come she ended up in the dance-off on one occassion? Lisa and Brendon have been in it a few times, has Tom? Anyone remember - I am having a senior moment x Tig

I don't think Tom has been in the final 2 Tig. It's hard to remember from week to week. I'm useless at times. I think the main reason for Rachel being in the bottom 2 despite her and Vincent being good dancers is that she's not as popular with the voting public as others were.

I didn't think Tom had been in the dance off previously I see he is getting a lot of stick in the papers, anyone would think he was a producer on the show It wasn't his decision to put all three of them through, and although I find the Beeb at fault for the fiasco I don't think he should have to shoulder the blame for their decisions, nor should he be made to feel guilty if he wins (which he won't 'cos everyone on here says Rachel will! ) x Tig

Thank you, thank you <modestsmilesmiley> Tom has never been in the dance off and neither had Austin until his last fateful dance. He's quite sweet, and Camilla has surely learnt her lesson regarding the dances she chooses,so I think he'll come a very creditable runner up to Rachel ( even though I'd like him to pip her at the post)
