Expect it will be Jodie and Christine - but would daerly love smarmy Vincent to go ( sorry Rachael!!) I think Rachael and Christine are both in danger of overdoing the "shy and nervous little girl" act - after all they are both professional artistes and they did volunteer for the show. Having said that.....I quite like them both...

You know what You have to admire Brucie - 80 years old, full of 'flu and he still went on the show - I think he is great I think Len went over the top with Craig - all the Judges have their right to say what they think He is a spoilt boring old man and I wish he would LEAVE THE SHOW He is getting a bit too omnipotent for me now - too big for his boots as my Mum would say Bruno makes me laugh he is so funny

As the judges said...what a dance off! It was a sheme that one of those couples (cooples) had to go. I've not been a fan of Jodie (though I like Ian) but she did that dance soooo much better in the dance off than in the actual competition.

We all thought Jodie might go off early on in the competition - but the girl came good and danced much better in recent weeks. I think Christine may be the new John - although she has danced well in previous rounds, she was a bit stilted this week Is it just me? I don't think Rachel or Lisa are that good x Tig

I still dont think she says Cooples - she says it just like I would and I dont say Cooples - I say Cupp Pulls as in Judd Jizz ;D Rachel always dances so elegantly IMO but I think it will be between the Boys - dont like either of them personally so shant vote this year

I've enjoied watching Jodie and felt for her this week because she's been unwell. I too think she danced much better in the dance off. She took it all with very good grace I thought. I'm not overly impressed with Lisa and although I like Vincent I don't think Rachel and him deserved 10's this week. The cat was sick so I missed the group dance was it any good?

I haven't seen it yet but think that Jodie has been an excellent competitor. She's really risen to the challenge, and done her best in dances that have sometimes been obviously difficult for her. She's obviously not as good as some of the others so it sounds as though it was a fair vote yesterday. I'll tell you about the group dance when I see it LNG!

Its getting to the stage when we have to see people we like go but this week there should have not been an elimination seeing as JS retired. Jodie has been getting better each week but in my opinion she should have been the next one to go. How did she become a model? OH said she looks like a tree trunk as she has no shape except straight up and down and none of her dresses suited her at all, I agree with him on her shape. I think Christine should go out next as she is not up to the standard of the others, after that I'm not sure who should be voted out.

Christine seems to have a large public following. I think Lisa is under rated. Quite like Rachel but can't stand slimy Vincent ( although he is a great dancer and choreographer ) Len should calm down and Bruce should GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not keen on Brucie but he came up with the idea of Strictly in the first place so respect for that. Mind you it's probably made him a bob or two!!! I'm not so keen on Lisa - I'm sure she's a lovely woman but there's something about her I'm not sure about. And I agree about Vincent - he's far too slimey but he and Flavia make a fantastic team. Mind you I think Brian and Kristina make a fantastic team too. I have to say that I thought the Night Fever group dance was (in the voice of Craig) fab-u-lous! Those sort of dances do seem to sort the wheat from the chaff because Rachel, Austin and Tom really stood out. LP wants it to be a Rachel/Tom dance - goodness knows how she would finally decide though

I have to say that I think Tom is improving quicker, and is in many ways better, than Austin. We'll see. But I do think Rachel and Vincent are the best visually matched couple and that goes a long way. Ooooh I love it when people start to think of the quality of the dancing. That couldn't happen while John was still there.

Agree with Plocket about Lisa and yes Rachel and Vincent have a chemistry - they dance like lovers Tom I think is the best dancer but I dont like him I will maybe vote for Rachel if I bother and I think maybe LP will like Rachel Her frocks are always very very pretty and feminine

Post by Auricula on Nov 27, 2008 15:49:29 GMT
Plocket - how old is LP now? Is she still young enough to be in the "fairy princess" mode - if so I'm sure Rachel will win through. Tom is coming across as a tad egocentric ( about getting the 10 score ) I fear - so it's looking like an Austin Rachel final if it's just down to the dancing

Hia Auricula! LP turned 7 in October so still likes fairies and princesses but not Disney ones.
I've just asked LP who she wants to win and she says Rachel because she got 4 tens last week, her costumes are "suitable" (?) and because she does lovely dances. There you go then!!! ;D
