Planted out my cosmos and gazania seedlings and they seem to be doing well. The aquilegias I grew from seed last year are all flowering in the borders

The best thing now it that the search facility works on the thread, so just by typing what seedlings you are looking for in the search box top right you can see if there are any images Its a brilliant library thread for seedling ID'ing and the search funtion does makes it so easy. I looked yesterday for primula/primrose

LG sent me some Ammi Majus seeds which I duly sowed and popped into one of the growhouses. I was surprised within a few days to notice germination in the pot, and two clumps of seedlings grew away quite nicely. I'd not grown them before and wasn't sure what they looked like. As they were a little congested I thought I'd pot them up, only then did it strike me how much like basil they were! In fact they were so much like basil, they smell like basil, and by golly they were basil (ignore the label) Somehow some basil seed must have got into the compost I used! Thankfully I had not disturbed the rest of the compost too much getting them out, so I covered it with clingfilm and popped it back in the growhouse .... and I now have Ammi Majus seedlings (I think )
