In a posative move to look at good things, list things that made you smile today.
1) Walking in the GC, picking up what I wanted and walking straight out again (yes I did pay!).
2) Turning on the watering system and soaking the dog. I don't think he's forgiven me yet.
3) My OH because he insists that getting the little things right makes the big things better.

My neighbours dog happily digging a hole in the lawn that I filled for her yesterday ;D

I have the same philosophy Chuckles - except when I'm under the weather and then I'm a miserable old git ;D Smiled at the very nice helpful assistant in the DIY store who helped me find what I wanted Laughed out loud at the antics of the cat attacking her own tail And I always smile at my OH (better than weeping, swearing or throwing things at him ) x Tig

1. Seeing my dog and his visitor dog playing chase and ruining my garden in the process. 2. Being on the beach and feeling the stinging wind off the Atlantic. 3. The fact that the Cafe proprietor insists on closing the beach car park at 4pm when he closes the cafe. At 3.55 the car park was full of people who could probably have murdered a cuppa, but he was closing the cafe wasn't he

The sparrows all sat on the fence waiting for me to fill the feeders When I checked the weather the heavy rain that was due has moved to the end of the week The chickens made me smile at lunch time, they seized and opportunity while I was making a brew and jumped in a hole I'd dug in the garden and had a good old dusting session. I watched them for a while but got a look as if to say Do you mind not staring at us ;D

Teal my springer spaniel when she saw me put my coat on to go out, she went straight to the treat box. She always has one when I nip out Next doors 6yr old grandson when he collected the eggs for me. When I said he could have them for his T, he said but isn't there a chick inside them. I said no because we don't have a daddy chicken I took him home after that ;D not going there. A little girl holding hands in town with her dad, singing and skipping along, innocence is bliss.

Today I watched and smiled at the chickens as one chased the other, Bessie had the biggest fattest worm you ever saw and Joycey was determined to get it off her. Joycey eventually caught hold of it and gave a huge tug and they ended up with half each ;D Poor worm though While potting up some young plants today in the GH I noticed a clump of something growing out of the gravel, what a bonus 5 sunflowers. Either I dropped them or the mice have been pinching seed and burying them. All now potted up The dog seems to prefer doing her dodooo's on the new turf not sure whether I should have smiled or not really but I did

Watching a sparrow perched on the bar thingy on the bird feeder, it wasn't interested in feeding, it was just swinging and chirping away like a budgie does on it's swing, sooooooo cute Remember this from the other day " Today I watched and smiled at the chickens as one chased the other, Bessie had the biggest fattest worm you ever saw and Joycey was determined to get it off her. Joycey eventually caught hold of it and gave a huge tug and they ended up with half each ;D Poor worm though Well Bessie found a huge one today, baby snake size she grab it quick and scarpered, Joycey never got a look in ;D OH just now as he fell asleep in the chair and his head fell forward, OK I more than smiled ;D
