One thing that made me smile today was the amount of folk who smiled or said hello when we were in Heathfield this morning. Normally you have to have a dog or baby with you before anyone will make eye contact or talk to you.

I smiled when out in the borders of the garden today I saw the new growth at the bottom of the Sedum and the Clematis in the pot. ;D I smiled again when I pulled out the Rudbeckia that were long over and found that my little Rose cutting, now coming into its 2nd year seems to have survived the prolonged frost and lack of water in it's pot. I smile at my cat on a daily basis because he loves to cuddle too.
