Had my little garden helper here today (great nephew) we planted potatoes. I told him they were baby potatoes and to be careful with the little bits that were growing from them, he promptly kissed each one as he placed it in the hole, I could have cried ;D
He's got one of my raised beds and a few tools, a bucket, a wheelbarrow, brush and dust pan, watering can, seed tray and pots etc etc. Today he half filled the wheelbarrow with soil but accidently tipped it up all over the path. When I asked him what happened he said "I made mess but don't worry Aunty I get brush and dust pan and clean it up" got him trained well ;D

Thought with Autumn creeping ever closer we could do with reviving this thread. I ventured into the outer reaches of my handbag this morning, looking for my dental appointment card & found £15 worth of unspent vouchers from my favourite nursery, (I could have sworn I used them in the Spring) i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/smiley.gif Jillyx

1. A cheque from the Taxman for £37.41 for overpaid tax on my pension in 2008. 2. Finding a framed Japanese/Chinese ink drawing (most delicate) in a charity shop for £2.50. (I have a Japanese theme going in the sitting room). 3. Winning the GWD quiz 4. Our 4 month old twin granddaughters visiting us on Sunday. They are being christened on this coming Sunday: Willow Mae and Rose Elizabeth. Their boy cousins are teenagers but very hands-on with the girls - this really surprised us, so another thing to make us happy. Yakkers
