My old dog bounding about, she had a real spring in her step today The birds singing their little heads off in the garden It's not been so cold today and it's been dry too Seeing OH sweeping out the front porch after I moaned about all the dry mud that falls out of the tread of his work boots, picture it, burly 6ft 3 builder on his knees with a brush and dust pan ;D News that my niece has been offered a place at Nottingham Uni to do a 3yr midwifery course, sooooooo proud ;D particularly as she is a young single mum. The fact that I won't be hearing a jet engine in my kitchen after today, I'm getting my new washing machine delivered tomorrow There is always plenty to smile about and its good to smile

Thanks folks, the minimum prize is £25 now but it used to be £50. What a pity I could have won £100. Don't give up hope FB ;D I guess I ought to put some towards a drink Barbara ;D A smile from yesterday........GN was up the garden playing, aunty shouts "what you doing" he replies "making a mess aunty" he had took the lid off the sand pit and filled his wheelbarrow then promptly tipped it out all out on the path ;D

Your GN is priceless Chuckles I love hearing the things he says and does! I walked down the lane from the carpark to school this lunchtime after a fairly traumatic morning at County Hall and the sun was warm and it was a proper early spring day.

I smiled when in shock I saw in one of my tubs had a lot of purple crocus in it in flower or well in bud - I dont remember planting them and then I saw more had appeared in another tub
How do they erm "spread"

It's lovely when you see something you've forgotten about. It's funny about the crocus, I came across my openingJean D'Arc yesterday and I'd not seen them coming up at all. What made me smile yesterday was seeing the very small shoots of Astrantia, I thought I'd lost it.

He's on the mend though so thats something to smile about
