The birds always make me smile too, especially the Mistle Thrush who visits in the winter. I'm always so happy to see him.

It's their antics isn't it? ;D The cheeky blue tits wouldn't dream of an aerial attack on the woodpecker when he is feeding - but I guess they think the robin is a case of picking on someone your own size...how wrong could they be! It's taken the birds a few days to come back after not having food put out for them for 3 weeks.
I've got a number 2 now....The sun is shining - what a joy.

My old dog made me smile this morning when I put last nights tea scraps out for the chickens, she was sitting not far away looking and praying they didn't eat it all ;D they left the cooked cauliflower for her. The sun is shining too so smiles all day for me

It's not so bad when you can smile about it FB. Chuckles do you feed your chickens regularly with the left overs? Do they eat anything? Ruth I think is very cautious about what she feeds them.
