Thank you all so much for your lovely comments about Aoife, my little Grandaughter and the pic I posted. You've all made me smile again today. ;D Chuckles, you obviously adore your little Great Nephew and he sounds like he adores you too. How lovely to have a day together on a regular basis. Not too much time but enough to be able to plan and do lots together. ;D Barbara, she's a real little giggler. Jilly, I have the same problem with ordinary pigeons at my table. It's a hard job keeping them off but I've put some plastic netting kind of stuff around which helps deterr them. The smaller birds can climb through it. Hope you can sort something out as they'd eat everything and leave nothing for the little ones. JW they've been selling easter Eggs in bags since Christmas here.

I've been meaning to put this on here for a couple of days & keep getting side tracked. The Winter Aconites that I stole from my aged mother i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/grin.gif last year have taken. I was walking up the garden the other morning when I noticed about 3 are up & one has a big yellow bud. Jillyx

Jas doesn't need the height......I never had steps cos I lived in a flat so I just used to put on my stern face and cross voice...my daughter would listen but my son used to laugh...

One thing that made me smile - actually I had to pick myself up of the floor in surprise before I smiled. I've just won Galanthus Mrs Macnamara off Ebay. I never win snowdrops off Ebay - it's a mad fevered market with people whipping in 2 seconds before the bidding ends. Bidding on G. Flocon de neige got to over £100 last year - now that's ridiculous.
