Such beautiful flowers everyone, lovely colours. Well done growing your viola from seed PJ. I've grown them from seed too but they always seem to be weaker plants than those you can buy.

I love your Purple Passion Tulips PJ, here's a few of my odd ones that have been in pots in previous years & are now dotted found the garden. I think this is White Parrot I can't even remember planting this, it started off as one odd one that came up every year & now it's a clump i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/smiley.gif I'm glad a few of this one have survived it's called Cummings & I'm growing it in my pots this year too, it's such a fab colour combination. Lastly, does anyone know if perennial wall flowers are scented. I got this one about 3 years ago & it just keeps going, it didn't say on the label that it was a perennial & it has a wonderful scent. This is a great pic of those lovely wallflowers, with them at all the stages and shades of opening. i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/smiley.gif I only ever had the pernnial purple wallflower but it was'nt scented.

I've been out and sniffed my Bowles Mauve Jilly, slight hint of a smell but not strong ... here it is, another rescue jobby I do love this one and shall take some cutting this year (now I know you can ) and I spotted this nearly out today, think it is one of the ugliest tulips I've ever seen, it is very knobbly - bastogne and I nearly missed the blossom on this .. x Tig

It is just an ordinary wallflower Jas, I think it was one of a bare rooted bunch I bought for 79p last autumn. I had a beauty last year which was similar but with more cream, it has survived but isn't in flower yet so expect more photos to follow (now there's a surprise ;D)

Bowles blue is a real good doer Tig and that 2nd wallflower has wonderful colours. My neighbour has some of those knobbly tulips, very unusual.
