My favourite track of theirs is an album track called "Whispers" from their 2nd album "The Anvil". It's the only instrumental in my top 10 and I just love the soaring electronic piano that's almost classical in it's style. I lied ! I've just found it on YouTube. The first 3 minutes are very slow and extremely quiet. I love this track and listen to it often. Visage - Whispers uk.youtube.com/watch?v=q3-kq4EQ1vQFA x

Well at least someone else is interested Tig ;D At number 9 on my favourite all time top 10 is "Honey" by Lovers Electric. This band were a support act to OMD last year. I'd never heard of them before the concert but they were ok so I bought their CD and for a while afterwards I didn't play anything else. Love it ! This is the title track uk.youtube.com/watch?v=y5DV4BJDdx8And this is a link to their Myspace site where you can listen to several of their songs. I suggest if you want to listen to one of them, try "Start Again" 'coz it's my favourite track of theirs. www.myspace.com/loverselectricFA x

I LOVE Brothers in Arms. It's a great album and was Dire Straits at their absolute best. "Your Latest Trick" is my favourite track.
Thanks for the reminders !

I'm up to no. 8 on my top 10 albums. Widely regarded as one of their worst albums by both critics and fans, I love "The Pacific Age" by OMD. It didn't have any major hit singles on it and it came at a time when the band was on the verge of splitting up but I think it had a great sound (much different from their earlier stuff) and even though it's 20 years old, still gets a lot of playing in my house ! It also has one of my favourite OMD tracks on it, called "Flame of Hope" but that was never a single and I can't find it on YouTube This was their biggest hit from the album - Forever Live & Die. Not one of their best tracks by a long way and not even one of the better tracks on this album but about the only one I can find from this album on YouTube !! uk.youtube.com/watch?v=67DxXpkZGMAFA x PS - You're obviously all waiting for me & Tig to finish ours before you all join in........ ;D

Oh yesss WT - I love Free, I didn't have that LP though! I could also have gone with FAs choice for Oasis (but if others choose ones I like I am excluding them from my top ten on the basis that I can pick more ;D) x Tig

Just reading through this and couldnt even begin to pick my top ten favourites, but I have certainly got a list going now for some downloads on my MP3. I do love The Who. And am quite partial to Tainted Love by Marilyn Manson.

Andy, thank you so much, I didn't know. The poor boy. He was a talented singer and guitarist. I'm so glad I saw him in Glasgow not so long ago.
