I LOVE youtube - I've been looking all sorts of things up!!! ;D At No.5 for me it's Sweetest Thing by U2 - it was a close run thing because the whole Joshua Tree album is absolutely fab, but this newer song does it for me. It epitomises U2, Bono isn't showing off too much and I just love it ;D Dessert - I'm stuffed!!! Island - Oh I don't mind - somewhere nice please

Looks like it to me LL. Oooh, those eyes....... I wonder if he is lurking somewhere on my Island. ;D Mine aren't in any order, I'm just trying to pick my faves, and generally they are songs I love to sing or dance to. I always have trouble when I try and sing this one from a famous manufactured boyband: How does he sing that fast!!!! ;D It was a close thing between this and A Little Bit, Me A Little Bit You, but this won on fun value. [Hmmm.....I might just cheat and have both.... ] Pud - A humungous belgian bun.

My 3rd choice. Santana 'Aint Got Nobody' from the III album...even better than Abraxas imo. Is my age showing here ? ;D Dessert...my Mummy's bread and butter pudding. I ent chosen any islands yet!!!...can I have the Hebrides ? Your age MAY be showing, but your taste is impeccable. My favourite Santana track was always 'Samba Pa Ti' but then M&S used it in their advert and spoilt it for me a little They had great album covers didn't they?

In at 8....David Gray and Sail Away..... It's precisely what we did for our 1st wedding anniversary.......and 2nd and possibly other times too. Come to think of it even our honeymoon (Yikes - There are advertising pictures on the web of this!). I do remember on arrival at port...it was the first time and possibly last that I was instructed to "run her hard aground" (the yacht not my wife) in mooring/parking the boat on a beach. Mrs C was told in no uncertain words by the shore people to drag up a bucket....upon which she told them she was too "flippin busy" ensuring our stern anchor (dodgy rear anchor) was embedded or foul sounding words to that effect. 20 minutes later when she did come up to the bows (the front) she gave me a right rollicking for not dragging up the bucket and got all huffy......until she hauled up and realised the bucket held ice and a vintage bottle of champers..... Mind you I often think if only we'd got married one year later we wouldn't have had to have a first dance to that ghastly Rod Stewart track....Sailing Which brings me on to the next track that we actually wanted as our first wedding dance....... OOoo nearly forgot the important bits! Dessert - Baklava Island - Anti-Paxos, where we had just sailed from in a storm from hell (It was utter hell in all seriousness).

Rod Stewart's 'Sailing' has warm fuzzy memories for me. I was stuck in hospital for six weeks before my daughter was born, with only the radio for company. That song was on the radio constantly, so it reminds me of becoming a Mum. ;D

"A different corner" by George Michael. I was never a Wham! fan but when he went solo I started to appreciate his singing/songs. I love some of the more funky stuff (Let's go outside, and the like) but I've chosen A different Corner because it gives me goosebumps. I'm not sure why though - I've certainly never fancied George Michael.
pudding - oooooh YES Lemon Merangue pie - delicious!!!

I think my number one would have to be Metallica's Nothing Else Matters. I'd split up from MrJ and as we'd already bought our tickets we still went to see them together - and ended up getting back together We then had it as our first dance at our wedding Dessert.... something with lots of chocolate and big enough to share with Mr J Jardack

I've got a bit of catching up to do so you may get three or four in quick succesion.
No 2 has to be Fields of Athenry, many artists have recorded it. Celtic have it as an anthem, Liverpool have "bastardised" it. My current version is the Dubliners. reason for choice, me Mums favourite, she was none too pleased when my little boy was posted to Armagh. Also reminds of my days and nights with the London Irish
Pudding-Queen of
Island-Achill, to be in keeping with song

And I spent a week on Achill. It is the most lovely place. Most treasured because my ma and pa were with us. They didn't travel much and we got them to go with us. I remember sipping whiskey with pa in the hotel lounge. And him being all 'puffed up' because he was on holiday with his first born. The best of days.
