The blue bear wouldn't let me in this morning. Just seen that there has been "Connectivity issues" but everything should be ok now Barbara. Did anyone else have problems - I seemed to be fine.. |

When I tried I got in and then went to look on FB, I came back it was then I got the bear, it was late morning I think, all's fine now though. Rosefriend , |

I just got 'redirected' to a site telling my my Mcaffee had expired, I don't use Mcaffee! It closed my GWD session at the same time, obviously something a bit untoward lurking somewhere in the ads!

Just been having a nosey on Proboards and a "redirect" from Mcafee seems to happen on a regular basis - it's nothing to do with Proboards though and it seems to be browser related (Chrome) and then not browser related... |

There must have been a few problems as I got bounced off, and then couldn't get back into the forum for ages. Seems to be sorted again now though.

I notice a lot of other forums were reporting having problems yesterday, and although resolved I couldn't see any Proboards response to what was behind the issues.

For some reason I keep getting red warning signs from McAfee when I was on the what did you do in the garden today thread.It asked me was I sure I wanted to go there..  I'll see how it goes. |

That has happened to me a lot Ladygardener, were you using Google Chrome? I got a redirect yesterday, it happens when I'm just reading a thread so must be something in the background. |

Yes Tig I was using google chrome, I nearly always use it to get online. Strange is'nt it, it happened when I was just reading too, I did'nt click on anything. It's happened on and off over the past few months for some reason but yesterday it kept happening all the time. I'm not aware of anything I'm running in the background. |

It could be some 'hidden' script embedded in Proboards forums which uses flaws in Google Chrome, it only happens to me on here, not on any other web pages.

For some reason Proboards have always warned Google Chrome users. New codes tend always to have problems with Chrome...strange after so long...

Just got redirected to a scam site, thankfully Norton kicked in and blocked whatever site it was. Just be careful, close your browser immediately if it happens to you.
