It's a familiar story in my house Jilly. All 3 of the little buggers. One side of the tree is practically bare now and there's no sign of the decs so they must be under one of the sofas or the TV cabinet. I'll find them around June time when I do my proper full on cleans!

Oh dear - pets are like small children when they haven't got anything to do Does anyone do prezzies for their pets? Bonnie had a stocking on Sunday when the boys had theirs.

I've bought a couple more bits this morning, but I've got everyone what they are having. Some of them are getting Argos vouchers so they can buy what they want in the sales - hopefully before the VAT increase I went to the supermarket & stocked up on wine & beers ... someone had better visit over the festive period otherwise I could be permanently Just counted up and I've got 18 bottles of wine, 100 plus cans of lager and umpteen bottles of spirits Apart from the fresh stuff I think I'm done shopping x Tig

Hope it all goes well Jas, I'm sure you'll be fine tomorrow, now Friday might have been a bit different!!! I'm blaming the amount of alcohol in the house on my cold .... forgot what I'd got in stock already So we have sherry, port, vodka, gin, whisky (several types), brandy, pernod & bacardi ..... if anyone is passing but not driving a merry time will be had by one and all ;D Not forgetting the shampoo of course Tomorrow I shall be wrapping a few bits and bobs, and maybe getting some decorations up - might even attempt to make a wreath if I feel less bunged up! Ohh, and my yule log i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/rolleyes.gif x Tig

Wine in my house too but usually a bottle of Baileys as well.

Does Baileys go off, I've had an unopened bottle for a couple of years now. I am going to bring the tree in to dry out and then decorate it at weekend, we're having it in the kitchen this year.

Baileys does go off but only if it's opened I think. It'll keep for a while in the fridge when you open it Barbara. If I was you I'd get it opened sometime soon. Maybe when you're sorting out your tree and listening to some nice Christmas music.

Does anyone know how to make ornaments with oranges and cloves? I can't seem to remember do you cut the orange and stick the cloves into the flesh?

Do you mean like a Christingle LG, then I think you use cocktail sticks, can you google it,
I'm not a lover of Baileys, I only bought it to give to guests, but I don't have anyone who asks for it visit.
