That's a brilliant deal! I loved getting the paper with the shopping delivery yesterday but I know what you mean Geranium - I've ordered Amateur Gardening and got the same one 2 weeks running as the display hadn't been changed.

You can take stuff back but that defeats the object of the exercise really doesn't it?

Mine came the other day as well, it might have been yesterday or the day before. I've not had a chance to read it yet. It is early now you come to mention it.

Do you cut the stems back or mulch round them Auricula?

I pull the stems out once they have gone brown or yellow, and I wait for the leaves to die back too, then I mulch ( about 2")

I have 1 grown from a box of 3 bare roots that I bought in B&Q back in spring - they obviously weren't very successful - will try the seeds in spring!

Guess what I've been and gone and done! I normally pick up my copy of Garden Answers at Sainsbury's, but with shopping on-line, I can't be sure of getting it, so I've become a subscriber - I shall get two years' worth of magazines for the price of one year. Thats a bargain Geranium......can't remember how much I pay for mine.....but its a darn' good read and stuffed full with useful info. The on-line comps a pretty good too......not that I've won anything i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/cry.gif

I can see what you mean Auricula. To be honest although there are lots of featured gardens I most likely would'nt buy it if I was'nt growing veg.

I stopped buying Gardeners World as I got bored with it. I keep all my old copies so I am sure all the articles get repeated in some variation or other.
Jas, thanks for mentioning the AG mag. I bought it for the free White Swan seeds.
I've just joined the RHS for £36 instead of £49 so I will be getting their magazine. I joined cos I want to go to Hampton Court Flower Show on a members day to avoid the mass crowds. Not that I've been before, but I really do fancy going next summer
