There were no adverts for weeds in the paper this w/e. I'm a bit disappointed - I wanted to see how you could dress up weeds as a good idea to buy!

There's an article on the Weeds for Sale in this/ next weeks AG. They have sold out of nettles and are putting a larger part of the nursery to growing nettles, dandelions and buttercups cos they've been so sucessful Jasmine

I've got plenty of nettles! I was reading in the gardening bit of the paper about someone who'd bought a house without realising the garden had a 5m squared patch of JK in it - the seller had cut it down apparently - it was going to cost £1,500 to get rid of it using a professional company

I'll bet the buyers were raging. I would be, sold under false pretences or something.

I thought the writer was very calm about it in the article - OH said she should be after the seller

Your OH and I are thinking alike Jasmine. It sounds like the seller was dishonest to me.

You are supposed to declare it if you know it's there.

I know it's a long time since we moved but that doesn't surprise me at all. In that case I would be after the seller.

I know the feeling! This is from September's The Garden and it made me think of Auricula and her dreaded montbretia! ''Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora 'Star of the East'. Selections of Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora may have potential to escape, so ensure spread is prevented beyond the garden.'' I get a great picture in my mind of Crocosmia and Escape from Alcatraz!

Steve McQueen in "The Great Escape" has nothing on Montbretia I saw that article Jasmine I've sent OCTOBER'S English Garden to you Jilly

Thanks you The thing is Jasmine I'm not sure Auricula is worried about the Crocosmia escaping into the wild it's the more the ones breaking in she's worried about

It's all a cunning take over plan on the part of Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora!
