As Ladygardener suggested, I'll put this on here even though it wasn't e-bay, I ordered a collection of fancy Echinacias from Simplyseedsandplants from an offer in AG magazine. Wasn't sure as they seemed far too cheap, but I ordered them on Sunday & they're here today, lovely healthy looking plugs. That's good to know Jilly. I saw the Echinacea advert - I love tomato sauce although I'm not sure about the name!

I ordered a viburnum opulus from gardeningrussell yesterday....don't think I've used him before but he sells a lot of plants and has a lot of feedback! Good service from gardeningrussell. My viburnum arrived today and it's a good healthy sized little plant!

Good luck chickengirl, hope you get what you're looking for. It's difficult to know who to order from when ordering online. Some companies have a high delivery charge as well as being priced high.

Ok folks, so I have done a little bit of purchasing for the garden and have really got to recommend the following for some lovely shrubs at good prices. Jacksons were fantastic to deal with both through correspondence via e-mail and on the phone. I bought my Daphne from them amongst other things and they were great. Burncroose were also fab, especially their packaging which is better than anything I've ever moved house with! Finally, Waitrose Garden I found to be very good in terms of price, not to mention quick delivery. All of the above provided good sized, healthy plants.

That's good to know chickengirl. Our Waitrose sells plants in the entrance lobby but there isn't much choice - I guess there's much more choice on-line.

I ordered Aster x frickartii Monch from DonkeyDaisy yesterday and it arrived today. I saw a pic in GI of it with an orange dahlia (maybe David Howard) and the combination was so good I'm going to do it for next year! DonkeyDaisy turns out to be West Country Nurseries - can't fault the service and the plant is smallish but lovely and healthy looking.
....and she's sent me a catalogue too!

I've not Ladygardener but their proper website looks good - have you found them on Ebay too? I ordered some 1.5l plastic plant pots from Oakwood Nurseries on Ebay and they were quick and efficient and the pots are good quality.

No Jasmine, I must check them out. It was Jenny who was looking for Hydrangea and the site came up. I must check out Oakwood Nurseries too.

I always search for something I know they sell Ladygardener - I don't know how you do a seller search There's Saved Sellers but I don't use that either. Maybe someone else will know.

I've just looked at that link closely and I must be missing something as I can't see how it helps you find a specific seller Ladygardener - what a ridiculous situation!

To search for items only from specific sellers, use the "From Sellers" section on the expanded Item Search page. Select the "From specific sellers" option to include up to 10 sellers or Stores. Enter the seller User IDs (not Store names) in the box provided. The letter F is missing from the whole alphabet with details under them of what types of things are available so there is no From Specific Sellers option. Single seller Want to explore the listings offered by just one seller? Use the options on the Search: Items by Seller page. I can't find this either.

Good old Ebay! Are you looking for something specific Ladygardener - you could search for that and see if the seller you're looking for comes up. Slow, but it might work

I've just used Garden4less on Ebay for my Apricot Foxx tulip bulbs - they couldn't have been quicker if they'd dropped them off personally! Amazing, speedy service and the bulbs are Taylors bulbs like you get at most GC! P+P was free and the bulbs were £2.99 like it says on the packet.
