It is!!! PayPal say the issuer won't allow the card, Nationwide say it will, I have over £200 in the account and I appear to have "committed to buy" from the seller I think I'll leave it until tomorrow and try again If all else fails I'll have to use one of our joint cards and give OH the money ( which means he'll know how much I've spent ) All because I was bored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's got a lot to answer for 'being bored'!

I've had problems with my card in the past and had to speak to Barclays Fraud Dept All because I wanted to buy a subscription to Jaquie Lawson and a washer/dryer from Currys. They told me Currys had a lot of fraud with cards and JL was an american site.!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say I was not amused. Hope you get it sorted Auricula. Jasmine, lovely buys. I've been toying with buying a Cotinus Grace but will leave it for a while yet. It's one of those trees I love to see but most likely would'nt have room for.

I was reading Val Bourne's garden section in Saturday's Telegraph Ladygardener and she said you can prune cotinus right back to the ground in spring and it keeps it under control and you get bigger leaves. I quite liked the sound of this as where my Grace is it will need to be under control!!! I had a google and the RHS said the shrub had to be well settled in before you did such harsh pruning and I'm not sure how long well settled in is Anyway, she also said that the purple of Royal Purple is edged with pink after the frosts hit and that, and the hard pruning, made me order Royal Purple...I've always wanted a snowdrop tree!!!

I said b***er it to PayPal and sent him a personal cheque Ladygardener I have to go to the Nationwide this week so I'll check with them then. I had to buy 10bulbs in the end cos I'd tried twice and inadvertently pressed "commit to buy" both times Don't mind though as I've worked out where they can go now

I had a google Jasmine, Royal Purple is so lovely is'nt it. Hopefully you will get it under control before it reaches the 4-8 mtrs it can grow to. Auricula at least you ended up getting what you wanted. Even if it is twice as many, they'll make a better show.

I ordered some Bronze Fennel plug plants from Battlesbridge Garden Centre 3 days ago and they arrived today - they're nice, healthy little plugs and the P+P was free.

Very good, I think Rosefriend bought Bronze Fennel recently too. It does look very beautiful and has graced many a garden in Chelsea I think. They do say it does'nt take over the way the green one does.

Great word Rosefriend! I have quite a lot in the garden but when we had a chat on a thread about it I fancied some more. The plants that I grew from seed and planted out last year look much sturdier this year so hopefully it will just keep getting better. It is supposed to seed about but I don't find anything seeds about in my garden Ladygardener - except your lovely burgundy frills!

Premier Seeds Direct are the only ones I deal with on ebay, and I have for the last 4 years and more than satisfied with them,
