I'm not that happy with it this year but was hindered by only being able to really only use one hand to do it.

I've done mine this afternoon, and as predicted it looks almost exactly the same as last years effort, apart from the new 'fairy' I bought from Poundland ;D

I'm quite envious of your lovely suite Barbara. There'd be a no food and drink rule if it was in my house ;D Your tree looks very festive too.

We eat in the kitchen Jas, but, guess who spilled a glass of red wine down the arm of the couch 2 weeks ago, and I don't even drink the stuff, it was left on a side table by someone, you have never seen anyone move so fast to clean something up. a box of tissues later, and a bottle of stain cleaner, you'd never know anything had happened. Now if hubby had spilled it!!!!!!!!!! well that would be a different story

I can imagine the scene very well Barbara ;D. Years ago when Jessie was a puppy she did a boing onto a friend who wasn't expecting it who was sitting on our new couch with...a glass of red wine ;D It went all over the couch but my friend didn't get a drop on her!

I have to admit..I took the tree down today I have left all the other bits up though......I have been away for a few days and I left the heating on and forgot to top up the tree with water before I left so it was a bit sad looking and was dropping needles so I took it down...was very bare of needles by the time I had stripped it

I will keep mine up until the 12 days are over I just love to see my tree (black artificial with turquoise balls and two sets lights ;D) twinkling away in the living room And I may leave one of my wreaths on one of my doors - this is a heart shaped wreath and looks very pretty

Yes I'm sure it does JW, I think it would be a lovely idea to decorate our front doors all year round. I love it when Rf posts pics of how they decorate the doorsteps in Germany in autumn time.

I leave our wreath as long as it lasts Jenny - it becomes our New Year Wreath. I always get one from the local wood - they are made of noble fir, cones and a little bit of ribbon and I can't get rid of it on 12th night as it always still looks so fresh.

Super, I look forward to seeing it Jen - try taking one with the flash on and the houselight off, and one without flash just with the houselight illuminating the room.
