Quorn mince hotpot (quorn mince, chopped leeks, carrots and celery in a rich oxo and worcester sauce gravy....topped with thinly sliced tater cooked in the oven with lid on the pot for one calender month..then butter dotted on top and lid taken off for a bit so that the top taters get crispy) and crusty bread to dip in the gravy......I'll never be thin.... ;D

Its been proved that women of all age groups must have some fat in their diet or their joints wear out etc...and there is something to do with the absorption of hormones too I think........off to look it up.

It's true, women do need more fat in their diet than men as so much gets diverted to their bottoms.

You are NOT a lard ar*e - you're a QMVT still! There are many many men in the world who still find us irresistible. Aren't there?
BTW, had aubergine casserole, shared a pork chop with youngest daughter, jacket spud and peas. Washed down with a glass of cider. Very nice. Oh, and finished my scrummy carrot cake made by my friend Deb for my birthday. It was delicious...

It all smells fantastic...hope it tastes as good as it smells.. Problem...last time I cooked beef madras we couldn't actually move without parping for about 24 hours afterwards..... I was whinging on another thread about wanting beef last night and OH is downstairs cooking me steak. Coo! I don't often eat meat as he's a vegetarian. I deserve it tonight though as I've been getting leeks ready for market all day and I got very cold, very wet and really really muddy. And when I got home I lit both fires, got the logs in, fed the animals and let OH have first bath. I may celebrate with a can of cider now.

Ooooh wow! Enjoy your banquet. Will you have the lights down low and hope to see the stars?? There is just two nice table lamps in there with energy saving light bulbs in. Won't be able to see the stars as the roof is opaque polycarb (white !!!) However, i've just opened a bottle of Kronie so i'll probably be seeing stars by the end of the night.....what a romantic eh !!!
