Great pics, DB. I'm totally green now, need to see the doc, actually! Don't worry about the order, it adds to the experience!! ;D Are 'you' 100% happy with how it turned out, that's the main thing?

DB you must be soooo pleased with that. Despite following this thread from the start of your pond it was great to see those pics. I actually stopped the slide show and used the 4 grid thingy so I could look at each individual piccy. Fanbleedintastic job you lot did. I know it's a good sized pond but it made you realise how huge it is with 7 people in the hole spreading the liner it's come on great with the path and the planting you've done and that last piccy is absolutely amazing.

Ditto the relpies before me. It looks great DB. Maybe a little wood rowing boat, so you can get real close to the pondlife, would be nice. Any more plans for plants and such around or near it? Maybe a lovely tree somewhere.... sigh.

Thanks for the nice things you say ;D
Yes Keith I'm pleased the way it is turning out,it changes almost daily. Nice to see the wildlife enjoying it too. How did you get on at the docs, ok I hope?
I'm concentrating on the banks around the pond, planting shrubs and flowers that will self seed.(fingers crossed smiley) There is a self set walnut tree but I'm afraid he is too big to stay where he is, so I'm waiting to move him up the field.
The weather is awful here today, looks like a day for cooking or cleaning cupboards out ;D

Have been catching up on your thread DB. Your pond is smashing and looks as if it's been there for a long time.

Oh thank you all for saying such nice things We think the cats walked over it,silly beggers! The ice got to be very thick,an 18year old youth spent a couple of hours messing about on it. We were waiting for him to get wet but he didn't ;D (felt like blowing him up Keith!) ;D
