That very dark one is gorgeous Jas, seeing the price though I thought I'd try with a cheaper one from the GC first to see if they like me. Got one called Flamingo which is a sort of peachy pink.

That sounds like a nice colour Jilly. I was a bit gobsmacked by the price. I suppose if you can get them to keep coming back it evens itself out over the years. May see if they go in the sale.

I started my last one on top of the boiler cupboard Jilly - this next one is just on the window sill and isn't getting on very quickly. Sooo, I'd say a warm bottom was a good thing! ;D

Jasmine sorry I was'nt round to answer your query but so glad Rosefriend saw it and sorted it out. MY 2 Amaryllis produced just leaves this year so I've cut the leaves down on them. I must put them somewhere a bit warmer and perhaps they'll produce a flower.
